It may be the most technological city in the world. The bustling city is so enormous, the citizens live in soaring skyscrapers, and in very small flats. There are a lot of people moving from one site to another one every day, so it can be difficult to get your bearings.

There are so many people that make the city clogged with traffic, so it´s recommended to use the modern underground. Besides, it´s possible that you won´t like their food because it is very different from Spanish food; they will probably give you some undercooked fish.

In this city the sun comes out every day from the bay and the city gets busy. In this city a lot of people live on top of one another. The office blocks cover the blue sky. People go there to go shopping and to work. It has always been very famous because a really well known prision was built in one of the bay's islands. Also because have been filmed in it's steep hilly strets a lot car chases. The main mode of transport is the tram but there is a special route more famous than the others because it also has appeared in many films, one of them was the rock. If you want to use this tram you have to wait for a long time because there is always a big queue.

This city is a mixture of European and African culture. While you are walking in the street, you can see a woman wearing a t-shirt and jeans and another one wearing a veil. In the city, there are also many contrasts. In the rich part of the city, the shops are very luxurious and pricey cars are seen.
However, in another part of the city, children beg and it is difficult to walk on the grubby streets. The city is a witness to the history of many mediterranean cultures. The awe-inspiring beauty of the treasures that the city owns will attract you at first sight.
Nevertheless, around the main monuments, many people will try to sell you tacky souvenirs. This is the main problem of the city since the places are always bustling and the magic of the city disappeared. But, in a country that is trying to develop its economy, the tourism plays an important role to achieve it. Probably the aspect of the city that most will impress you is the haphazard traffic. Drivers ignore traffic lights and the road becomes completely clogged.
There is no doubt that after visiting this city it is imposible to forget it.

This city was founded in ancient Roman times and in the 10th century, was one of the largest cities in the world, as well as a great cultural, political and economic centre.
Great philosophers,orators and poets expressed themselves in the palaces of this city. It's easy to get your bearings here because of the big soaring towers of the mosques and walls and in-your- face towers of the Muslim and Christian period.
This city is located on the south of Spain and the minimum summer temperature is 27°C, the highest in Spain and Europe.

It´s not a very big city but it is becaming larger nowadays.It is developing a lot of buildings for tourists.It is near beautiful beaches although tourism prefers other more beautiful beaches.Moreover, it also has many new shops which sell international products.Apart from that it is historically important.Its culture and history is too particularly comparing to other cities in the country.However ,many old buildings are being torn down to make way to the new.
But that´s not all,it also has a lot of museums that you can visit.

This city, placed in the north of Europe, is a very exciting destination.

It is in an area which is well connected with public transport, so you can make use of the trains and buses to move to every important place without using the car.

In this city you can find a wide variety of shops, from the typical souvenir ones to the most expensive and fashionable shops.

The same happens with the pubs and the expensive posh restaurants, you can find both of them in near streets.

Those pubs are one of the most characteristic places in this city,where you can listen to little concerts of celtic music at nights.

Another place you should visit is the famous university, a very special building in the city.

There is also a wide variety of museums from which you can learn about the history of this city.

The famous large stick in the middle of the town makes it really easy to get your bearings.

This city is located near the Mediterranean sea. It's one of Europe's most ancient cities and it's highly populated. The language spoken there comes from Latin and most of the people living there are extremely religious.
The most noticeable characteristic is that there's a large amount of interesting museums, cathedrals, monuments and buildings. All of them are very ancient and they reflect the culture lived in this place over the centuries. That's the reason why a lot of tourists go there in order to visit them. Furthermore, there's a soaring building which can be seen from a lot of places in the city but it doesn't help you to get your bearings since it's further than it seems.
As far as gastronomy is concerned, there's a specific typical dish and it's served in many different ways.
Moreover, the roads are clogged by the traffic and the best way to go from one place to another one is using the underground or the buses, because they stop in the most important places to visit.
In conclusion, we can say that it's a wonderful city to go on holiday.

Santurce is a port town near Bilbao and it is located in the Bilbao Abra bay, near the mouth of the Nervion river.

I have lived in Santurce since I was born. It is a quite big town which has a population of 47,155 inhabitants. The landscape is beautiful since there are mountains like Serantes and the sea. It is a marine town and we conserve lots of traditions. The life in this area is focused on the sea, which inspires its work and its leisure. Fishing boat and rowing boat races, and the celebrations of the Virgin of the Carmen keep our traditions alive. The think I like most is the gastronomy, based on fish.

I invite everybody to go to Santurce and now more than ever because we are going to have the metro next year.

I was born in Bilbao and I have lived there all my life, so it is my actual hometown. Bilbao is located in the north of Spain, is one of largest cities in the Basque Country and also the province of Bizcaya. The city is located on the river Nervion and was founded as a village by Don Diego Lopez de Haro.

This photograph was taken in the centre of the city, where most shops and important buildings are. In my opinion that is the most populous part of the city where everyone goes for a walk.

Another place where you can also find a lot of people is in the "Casco Viejo". There is where most young people meet on saturdays for having a good time and there isn´t a great atmosphere at all.

Bilbao is a very busy city, with a lot of cars and polution. There are also some streets in which you can´t even walk, but that only happens in specific days or times.

Any way, I don´t like Bilbao very much. As I said earlier there is a lot of pollution there. Another reason is that in summer we have to do a 1 hour journey to go to the beach and it is not very comfortable.

Galdakao

I wasn't born in Galdakao but I have always lived there.

Galdakao is a small town which is 11,36 km from Bilbao.

First, I liked staying there with my friends but now I don't spend any time there,only at home and to take the bus, because I go out with other friends in Bilbao.

I like it because it's very relaxing and there is no noise but I would like it if it had metro because taking the bus everyday is very boring.

However,this won't be a problem in a few months because I am going to take the driving license.

Although I have passed all my life in this town, I think I won't live there in a future.

Porutgalete, Bilbao

In the picture we can see Portugalete's "Puente Colgante" next to the town hall (the building in blue). These are the most important sites of my hometown. I wasn't born there but all my life has been developed there. I actually live in Barakaldo, but I've spent 14 years living there and most of the people I know is from there.

The history of this village started in the 14th century when it became a village. With the years, it became a very important port and nowadays it has one of the most important monuments which is the transporter bridge, "Puente Colgate".

But the best thing about Portugalete is the festivals. There you can have a good time with your friends and you can taste a typical drink from there which is called "Kalimotxo". This drink is made mixing wine and coke.
